9/27  The Purpose of Prayer
As Unitarian Universalists, what is our relationship to prayer? When we cry out in our joys and in our sorrows, to whom do we exclaim or lament? What, if anything, is prayer for, and can it change anything in our lives? In this service, India Wood, Seminarian and UU ministerial aspirant, will explore the theme of prayer, and how her experience as a chaplain intern in a long-term care unit changed her relationship to prayer.
