Sunday Service

August 3, 2025 - “ All of Us Need All of Us: The Importance of Connection and Community'” - Joyce White

We need each other. We were not designed for isolation, we were made for connection, for community. But when practiced well, is where healing happens, it’s where change begins.

August 10, 2025 - “Care of the Soul” -Vickie O’Dougherty

The word “Soul” is not normally in common UU vocabulary. But it is the very essence of who we are. This is an examination of soul work that requires reflection and hard work that brings solutions that self-reflection yields.

August 17, 2025- “Meet the Moment” - Jane Podell, Joyce White, Rev. Margret O’Neall

Join us as we explore our learning at the UUA General Assembly to "Meet the Moment," a movement-wide framework helping Unitarian Universalists analyze, discern, and take values-based action in response to today’s religious, cultural, generational, and political realities.

August 24, 2025 - “Mercy, Unity, and the Call to Our Better Selves; The Strength of Bishop Budde” - Joyce White

On January 21, 2025, Bishop Mariann Edgar Budde, stood at the nationally televised Inaugural Prayer Service at the Washington National Cathedral. With searing bravery, Bishop Budde chose to issue a “final plea” to President Trump seated only feet away—fully aware that powerful and consequential ears were listening. She looked straight into his eyes and called on him to act with decency and mercy. How does her courage relate to us as Unitarian Universalists? How are we called to act?

August 31, 2025 - “Celebrate!” - Rev. Margret O’Neall

Labor Day celebrates the importance of meaningful work in our lives.  Let’s celebrate the balance of work and play, finding joy in this multigenerational community of inspiration and service.  You are welcome to bring a finger-food snack to share as we continue the celebration into our coffee hour.
