The Sanctuary

Seating capacity 60. Use of the piano and lectern. Caterers may use our food preparation area to serve. Free Wi-Fi and a large screen TV are available. Perfect for recitals, small weddings, memorial services, lectures and meetings. Wheelchair accessible through the rear entrance.

The Sanctuary has a built-in system that includes several microphones, two video cameras and OBS Studio software that may be used in conjunction with a meeting or to participate in the renter’s Zoom meeting. To use these facilities, the renter must pay an additional fee of $50/hour for a technician from the UU Catskills technology team to operate the equipment. The renting person or organization must ensure the availability of a technician before booking of the video system can be considered complete. Scheduling the technician is arranged through the UU Catskills office.

Additionally, for casual meetings, there is a small sitting area at the front of the Sanctuary and an outside patio with picnic tables.

Food Preparation

We allow private caterers to deliver and serve food at our facilities, or you can bring your own. Coffee pots and teapots are available by request. You are responsible for completely cleaning the rooms of all food and for cleanup.

Parking

There is a small parking lot adjacent to the building that can accommodate about seven vehicles. A municipal lot is located on the other side of the building with room for approximately 20 vehicles. Street parking is ample and is free after 6pm & on Sundays.

● Portable Sound System - $40 fee (reservation required for setup & instruction)
